Inku Kumar is a graphic designer and contemporary calligraphy practitioner. He believes we are all surrounded by art every day and that we simply need to look around, to explore and pick up references from our surroundings to create artwork. He works across numerous mediums and tools in calligraphy, and is well known for striking contemporary calligraphy and experimental compositions that reflect his unique vision. His work often addresses the intersection between language and art. He received his BFA and MFA in applied art from College of Art, Delhi. He had a successful 7-year career as a graphic designer at ESPN Star Sports, and with a growing passion and enthusiasm for calligraphy, Inku left the corporate world in 2013 and committed himself to exploring the art form in his own way.
